The following are the most common mistakes customers make applying through us.

6.1 Blank fields in Visa Application Form V.2013. Often, applicants will leave a blank field on the form. All fields must be filled. If they do not apply to you, write N/A.
6.2 Chinese name. If applicant was a Chinese citizen, they must provide their Chinese name.
6.3 Contact & inviter in China. This is a must for a Business visa. An organization with contact person’s name address and phone number. For a tourist visa, this may be a family member, relative, friend, or a hotel with name, address and phone number.
6.4 Tight timing & high risk. Unexpected delays can occur. Always plan for a few days delay if possible.
6.5 Missing supporting documents. Read the checklist above in detail and go over everything before mailing out your application.
6.6 Sending originals when only copies are needed. When it is permitted to send a copy of a document, we would prefer the copy over the original.
6.7 Lost order numbers. Your order number is required if you have any questions regarding your package, application status or shipment of your visa.
6.8 Applied too early. Visas are only valid within certain days from the time of issuance to the date you enter China.
6.9 Photo does not meet requirements. Passport-type photo is the most often rejected reason, especially self-taken photos. Please obtain your passport photo taken at the nearest location that offers passport photo services (drug stores, shipping stores and college campuses sometimes provide these services).
It must be passport style photo, 2×2”, front, white background, on photo paper and taken within the past 6 months.

If you have done everything correctly, sit back and relax while waiting for your passport & visa to arrive. In the event that something is wrong with your application, we will contact you immediately and assist you in correcting the problem.

If your departure date is soon, please call our customer care and confirm it can be completed in time.

The actual duration of your visa is at the discretion of the Chinese Consulate.
